Entering measurements
Every size box in Cabinet Run takes what you'd write on a shop drawing, not only plain numbers.

Press Enter or click away to commit. The box then shows the result, which tells you it understood the entry. If the number that appears isn't what you meant, type it again.
Inches or millimetres
The units toggle (top right of the project, room and cabinet editor) switches everything at once. Type in whatever the toggle shows. Numbers are stored exactly, so switching back and forth never rounds your design.
Why a value can change after you type it
Some fields are kept inside safe limits:
- A window or door can't hang off the end of its wall. Its position is clamped to fit.
- Changing a wall's length re-chains the walls after it, so the room stays joined.
- A room's ceiling height stays between 4 ft and 20 ft.
If a number snaps to something else, one of these limits is why.
